Atari Party Revisited

So, like I mentioned I got to go to a real cool event this past Saturday, an Atari Party. It was held where all geeks reconvene anyhow, the Davis public library. I got play a few Atari games; Warlords, Pac-man, and Super-Breakout. They raffled out prizes, we won a copy of the book Retro Gaming Hacks, a blue Atari fuji logo T-shirt, and a deck of Atari playing cards. The event ended with a showing of Cloak & Dagger. It was AWESOME!

Atari Party

So I’m very excited about an event that’s happening today. I can’t seem to sleep I’m so excited, I’m not a huge fan of Atari games but that’s only because I’ve never had the chance to play one. So for the first time I’m going to be able to play an array of different Atari games on the original system. Not only are they going to raffle prizes like Atari gaming systems but they’re going to show one of my favorite movies as a kid. Drum roll please >>>>>> Cloak & Dagger. I can’t wait.

Asparagus Festival

There isn’t many things to do up here in norther California but when a festival comes around, it’s big news. It’s time for the Stockton Asparagus Festival. I love asparagus and so does Queta so maybe we’ll make it down to Stockton this weekend, and for more incentive; Blue Oyster Cult is playing. Stockton Asparagus Festival
